How Kappa Kontherm™ Works
Patented Diffusion Convection
The system delivers heat or cooling with minimal turbulence and close to the floor – precisely into the area where people and machinery are located. Rather than unnecessarily circulating the entire volume of air in the hall, this creates an even temperature layer at floor level, which is distributed specifically throughout the occupied and working areas.
This is made possible by patented diffusion convection. Three physical effects work together here: diffusion, convection and the Coanda effect. The heat or cold is first gently introduced into the floor area. It then spreads evenly throughout the hall. The Coanda effect ensures that the temperature-controlled air remains close to the floor and follows the surface.
This creates a stable and uniform temperature zone exactly where it is needed – without strong air movements or unnecessary temperature variations.
