VACE Digital Solutions in Linz is a pioneer when it comes to excellent room air

After two years of pandemic, the offices are now bustling with activity once again. While meeting rooms and workplaces have only been sparsely occupied of late, workers and teams are increasingly returning to their familiar office environments. However, this doesn't mean that COVID-19 is gone. On the contrary - this environment is ripe for it to spread and cause a rise in short-term sick leave. From a business point of view, this is an administrative challenge. But many employees also feel uneasy about the increased number of people in the workplace.

After two years of the pandemic, offices are once again bustling with activity.

We can finally work together and in teams once more.

VACE Digital Solutions foresaw this situation many weeks ago and took appropriate precautions at the beginning of the year. These included a new indoor air concept that is centred around the health of the employees. The requirement was that teams not only felt safe during meetings and at work, but were actually kept safe. DI Klaus Kremmair, Managing Director of VACE Systemtechnik GmbH, describes this new priority as follows: "Nowadays, it's simply not enough to offer the employees free apples. Highly qualified workers demand that heir employers provide a holistically optimised workplace. The pandemic has meant that employees have been increasingly working from home, and also paying greater attention to good air quality. With our new room air concept, we have found a way to meet the demands of our teams and to be able to offer them consistently high-quality room air. This means that we can finally work together again in teams. It's an investment that not only has a positive effect on the employer-employee relationship, but also on our productivity."

Room air filter in the office for healthy room air
Mr. Kremmair is talking about the Kappa Puron® SC room air filter, a high-performance air cleaner with filter elements of HEPA class H14. This certification guarantees that 99.995% of all airborne pollutants such as viruses, bacteria and pollen are removed. Out of every 100,000 particles, only five will manage to pass through the filter elements of the Kappa Puron® SC. Thanks to this top notch filtration property and a high air output, the room air can be continuously cleaned. The circular construction ensures 360-degree effectiveness. As a result, healthy fresh air reaches even the far corners of the office. Mr. Kremmair is also impressed with the device's noise level, which is less than 42 dB(A). This roughly corresponds to the sound level of a refrigerator. Thanks to its compact shape, the Kappa Puron® SC also has an extremely versatile range of use: in reception areas, in offices and in meeting rooms. The room air filter not only ensures good air, but also trouble-free processes.

Healthy indoor air is important for the success of a company.
Kremmair took the end of the pandemic cycle as an impetus to adapt its existing indoor air concept to future requirements: "Our investments not only help to prevent the spread of COVID-19. For example, we also have some employees with pollen allergies. Even if the virus soon becomes endemic, this high-performance filter will allow these employees to better focus on their work. Perhaps our new room air filters will even provide an incentive to come into the office rather than work on the terrace during the pollen season," says Kremmair with a smile, before giving a preview of next winter:

"The Puron® will also enable us to support our customers during heavy flu outbreaks. And beyond that, we will be able to continue to offer our teams a sense of community and togetherness - strengthening precisely that team spirit that was unavoidably affected by the pandemic. After all, for us, entrepreneurship not only has a business dimension, but also a social one."
